Her father Luca Cumani is a renowned horse trainer and has involved her daughter into training since she was aged 3. She started with pony and moved on to horses as she grew older. When she was 11,s he officially started learning with the help of her dad. When she turned 18, she got her horse riding license as an amateur jockey and participated in about 25 or 30 races and was able to win about 4 of them.
