Biography
He was born in Delhi to a Punjabi mother and a Jain father. He loves playing football and has even played football at inter school level. He has been following Buddhism since his school days. He loves the chants and loves the absolute calmness and peace that is felt after chanting. According to him, the more you are fit in the mind, the more fit your body is and the best way to stay fit is by staying calm. Due to his tall height, lot of times he got rejected during auditions. However, when he got a role, he played it so confidently, that his height became secondary. The turning point in his life came when he got the role of Lord Krishna. All the other work that he did was diverse and nice, but playing Lord Krishna was so powerful that people actually started believing that he is god.
Career
His struggle started, after he appeared in Remix. He had to take some day off to complete his computer application degree. After a year when he came back, he had to struggle to get his first role. When he played the role of Aman, he was not too sure of the character. Saurabh used to learn his lines and just deliver it without knowing whether he did his job properly or not. Initially, he used to clam-up as soon as the camera started rolling. But after doing so many different roles he now feels much confident in delivering his dialogues. Even though all of his roles have been different from each other, he still feels that till date the toughest role that he played was that of Yuvi. For the role of Krishna, he received lot of respect as people loved the preaching and the way he delivered it.
Love Life / Girlfriend
Saurabh married a software engineer, Riddhima Trisal, who is a Kashmiri Pandit. They met in a dance institute where they became friends and started going home together. Gradually after few days they started dating and finally got married.
